How to read more books
How I did it: Well, after some time I realised that a lot of times I had begun reading several books at once - without really finishing any of them.
Then, when I read a book I could finish (the first in a loong time), I realised that it is about the book and not me who cannot finish it! I realised that if a book is really good and enthralling I don't have any problem at all with finding/making the time to read and finish it!
So, I stopped reading books that don't catch my attention until page 50 or so. I used to feel bad not finishing a book and thought I might lose out on something not reading all of it, but I realised that it feels worse reading a book that's not interesting than put the book aside unfinished.
This way I really enjoy reading again!
Lessons & tips: Read only books you think might interest you. If it's not interesting or enthralling or in any other way good JUST DROP IT AND DO NOT FINISH IT!
You may want to read at least about 50 pages because it might get better, but normally if it hasn't gotten any better by then, it won't at all. And who wants to read a 250-pages-book of which only the last 5 are enthralling? I don't!
