How I did it: I decided to stop waffling about it-- or really, I didn't DECIDE I just stopped waffling one day because I had a little extra grrr for one reason or another.

Lessons & tips: Fuck custom-- ASK THE GUY YOURSELF don't wait for him to ask you. If finding a date is that important to you then tradition has to take a backseat. Don't be scared of getting turned down. If you don't find a guy, go, and have fun anyways. It's not the end of the world. Steal someone else's man when you get there! Take your shoes off and grind on the dance floor.... just don't hesitate, whatever you do.
