How to lose some weight
How I did it: Unfortunately this probably isn't going to be very useful as I managed to lose over ten kilos in just under a year with pretty much minimal effort. I still never started eating breakfast regularly, and I didn't cut out all the crap I should have done. In fact, I was worried that when I went back to college I'd put it all back on, however I've kept losing weight.
I think there are two main reasons for this: an increase in exercise and a decrease in the volume of food I eat. Whilst I'm still eating a lot of crap, particularly at college, I'm eating a heck of a lot less of it, and I don't overstuff myself when I eat proper meals, like with my family. I have at least one, proper balanced meal at dinner, a light lunch and if I have time, a bowl of cereal for breakfast, most days.
Like I said, I'm also exercising a lot more, though this is again an accident. We got a dog over the summer so I take her for walks fairly often, and I also do a lot of walking to my jobs, college, friends houses, so on so forth. I've actually noticed I'm walking faster than I used to as well. I'm very happy with how I look and feel now :) Yes, I understand that sounds like something from a Weight Watchers ad.
Lessons & tips: I'd say that if you're prone to overeating, like I very much was, the best idea is to try and cut down on how much you eat. I found if I ate less then eventually I started to feel less hungry, too.
Also try and do more exercise, even if that's only small things like walking into town rather than driving, using public transport and walking the difference instead of, once again, driving, and all of that stuff.
