"Totally awesome and uplifting, and way easier than I thought!"
How I did it: I ate using principles pulled from the Raw Food Detox Diet and a macrobiotic diet, and I lifted weights like crazy!
Yesterday, I went to Express and got myself my first pair of size 6 jeans in the "Eva" cut, which is admittedly a curvier cut of jean, but hey, I was wearing that cut in a 10 about four months ago!
Lessons & tips: The important thing is to have a zen mindset about it, and only focus
on what you can do TODAY. Eat great food and lift weights today. Just build your fitness one day at a time.
A lot of women focus on cardio; their muscles and tendons can't handle that kind of pressure at first, and they are in pain and discouraged. Weight training will strengthen muscles, kick start your metabolism and help you lose weight. You can add cardio after you've been at it for a few months and feel more confident / fit. My boyfriend has been my workout buddy, and that has been a tremendous help as well. I have tried to be our diet planner, and he has paved the way with the workouts. Together, we are an awesome team! So, buddy up!
