How I did it: I played geography quiz games to make it fun. I read about the countries and learned so much, for example I didn't even know where some places were! I kept testing myself and having people quiz me. Some countries I could remember easily but others just wouldn't stick so I had to drill them.

Lessons & tips:

• Work on each continent separately
• Try to find ways to link the capital with the country to help you remember it, eg. it might begin with the same letter
• Find the countries on a map as it can help to picture it in your head
• Keep testing yourself to refresh your memory, the more you do it the longer you will be able to remember them - repetition is good
