How to floss Every Day
How I did it: Every night since I had my teeth cleaned I made myself floss. Some nights I was tired and thought "it will be ok if I skip one night.." - but I didn't let myself. Ultimately I flossed every night because I had done so every night since my dental cleaning and I didn't want to break the streak!
Lessons & tips: It only takes a minute or two. It might motivate you to floss more if you try it and then smell the used floss - if you haven't flossed in a while, it stinks! Just think what that is doing to the surfaces between your teeth. I don't know about you, but I want my own teeth for as long as I live!
Resources: I have a permanent wire retainer on my lower incisors (on the lingual surface of the teeth of course) that requires a floss threader to be able to floss in between them. Also, I like to use floss that tastes good. Right now I'm using Reach Clean Burst Berry Mint floss and I have some Reach Wild String Cherry Berry floss too - next I would like to try Reach Clean Paste Floss, Radius Cranberry Floss or Oral-B Ultra Floss.
