How to be a better vegan
"I feel better now having eliminated all traces of animal products and bi-products from my life within my capability-I feel at one with the universe and all forms of life."
How I did it: I researched every product I consume and switched to a cruelty-free version. I stopped buying camera film and started saving up for a DSLR instead. I sold or donated all of my old leather shoes and belts and kept the ones made out of canvas or manmade materials. I am continuing my research actively.
My daughter has also gone from vegetarian to vegan in the last two weeks, only consuming the very occasional animal-based meal. (sometimes, when she is with my parents and they serve her nothing else)
Lessons & tips: Read the labels on all your foods and refuse to buy or wear clothing made of animal skin.
