How to have a dinner party

How I did it: finally got round to asking my coursemates from uni round for dinner and drinks. they were happy to eat anything - and it was great that some of them brought stuff too - one guy made a greek salad to go with what i did.
keep it simple, cosy and friendly.
Lessons & tips: don't cook anything fancy.
