A little confused on how your town is both close to SF and LA (since they are 6 hours apart), but right on. I guess that is a lot closer than NY is to either of them. Anyway, hope you are enjoying California!

How I did it: My parents got tired of New York and wanted to move somewhere else. I suggested California. I explained that California was more family-friendly and there was more cool places to visit. Luckily, my dad got a job there and we moved. We moved to Turlock, a small town a few hours away from San Francisco. California was a lot different but I liked it. Turlock was perfect because it was pretty close to San Francisco, Los Angelos, Yosemite National Park, and other big attractions. This is my family's third year here and we have to move soon. But California changed us for the better. I don't want to move. California is near perfection.
Lessons & tips: You may think California's all beaches and warm weather, but it's not. When winter comes, it gets colder. Just not as cold as everywhere else.
