"Even on the worst days there are things to be grateful for."
How I did it: I'm still doing it! I'm on my third year!
I keep a word document for each year, divided by months. Every night I sit down for a couple of minutes, open up that document and enter anything. On days when I was really sick I entered "Tylenol". There is always a silver lining. Most days I have tons of little happy moments I remember and record. It's helped me journal my kids "firsts" and the average, everyday beautiful things in life.
Lessons & tips: When you're travelling and don't have your computer, use a notebook and fill in your document when you get home. Make the time - it takes minutes a day, you'll be so proud of yourself.
