How I did it: Meaning something to someone takes a lot of work on my part.  My heart got smashed last year and I needed to get over that before I could let myself mean something to someone else.  Now that I do, and we love each other, it is the most amazing feeling in the world. Just the feeling of her putting a blanket over me when I'm sleeping (or pretending to sleep ^.~) is amazing.  Love is an amazing thing.
