How I did it: It may require great sacrifice and letting go of relationships that keep you repressed or, at least, changing them. It is about forgiveness. You have to ask yourself "What is holding me back?" "Why can't I just be me?" "What would it take for me to be happy?" "Why does this person affect me so much?" Then write your answers down. Break it down into short term and long term goals and start working on each of them...one by one. I once heard someone say that happiness is not obtaining leisure and wealth but the conquest over ourselves or winning the little battles that usually hold you back. We must live in the present and use the time we have now. The past is the past, so let go of it, and make the future as you would have it. We must recognize our mistakes and make an effort to learn from them. Next time, remember your mistakes and then choose the better path. Then we see that all we live through really will make us stronger and more confident.
