BrishenAlston fighting the chaos ensued insanity with deep breathing
Lucky!
I haven’t even gotten through the college requirements so I have a long way to go. What does MLS or MILS stand for…is that the name of the degree I have to get?
How I did it: I went to the local MLIS program, volunteered at the local public library, and interned with the Friends. All three parts are critical: the degree, the experience, and meeting the right people. Other than that, I was confident in myself and didn't approach the interviews with fear, but I also wasn't cocky. I'm really happy with my life now, so if I didn't get the job I was applying for, it really wasn't a big deal. This allowed me to remain focused, friendly, and relaxed.
