How to learn to program C++
How I did it: I studied it at university, then spent 7 years writing C++ in industry before moving onto a higher level language. The only people who need to use C++ these days are device-driver authors, OS developers and quants. For every 20 lines of C++ you will need just a single line of C#, the libraries are so rich.
Don't waste your time, skip straight to .Net or Java there's way more demand for staff with those skills.
