How to learn arabic by ameera07

How I did it: I took a class ...but gave up because it was soo hard.  The following year I re-took the same class but this time I studied the alphabets for a few months before the class began.  I tried to attend every class.  I didn't understand everything that was taught in class but never gave up.  I kept trying and managed to pass my final at the end of the quarter.  Now I'm in the level 2 class and can read alhamdullilah!!!  I still have a long ways to go before I actually master Arabic but I'm well on my way.  I went on youtube and listen to the alphabet to learn the correct pronunciation.  I didn't give up. 

Lessons & tips: be consistent with your studying...try to study on a daily basis even if it's for only 15 mins a day.  Flashcards work very well for picking up new vocabulary.

Arabic is a beautiful language and found a fast way to learn it

My interest was to learn Arabic that is spoken/understood in the Levant (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan etc..) and Arabian Gulf countries. After joining several language schools in London, I really could never advance and keep up attendance.

I discovered an online Arabic website www.coffeebreaklessons.com which is very cool and I have been learning really fast for a fraction of the cost of schools. Also, I can learn on the go over my mobile phone which is really great. They have a free lesson one can try.
