How I did it: A good friend of mine had signed up for the Parachute Club at Kansas State. I was just sort of invited along and thought it sounded like fun. It is one heck of a rush followed by something completely relaxing. The best part of it all was meeting my future wife in the class. We will soon have been married for 20 years.
Lessons & tips: Nothing can prepare you for the feeling you get the first time you let go of the plane. DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!!!
