How to delete my myspace

How I did it: I went to "my account" settings and requested to close my account. Then they sent me an e-mail to confirm deletion. The said it would take up to 48 hours to delete, so I checked back after that time and saw that to my satisfaction, it was deleted.
Lessons & tips: If you want to delete it, just do it. Make sure you have the contact information of the people you wish to keep in touch with, and delete it. If you really miss it, you can always open a new account.
