How I did it: When I moved to the South in 1996 I had my license. But in 1998 when my NH license lapsed, I had not yet gotten a SC drivers license. I was going the same places as my husband because we worked together, so I didn't really need it.
But a few years ago I really needed to be able to drive myself places, and so I finally broke down, took the written exam and relearned how to parallel park so I could pas the driving exam, and got my SC license.
