How to visit the Statue of Liberty
How I did it: Last week - I checked the weather forecast for the weekend - and since Sunday was supposed to be sunny and a bit warmer than it had been - I got a ticket online at statuecruises.com - hopped on the boat - and got to see Lady Liberty up close.
You just have to make time - I have been in NYC for almost two years and hadn't gone. Finally just decided to stop procrastinating and go.
Lessons & tips: Dress warm! Even though it was an unseasonably warm day - it was much cooler on the boat - so keep that in mind.
Also - ladies - put your hair in a ponytail - my hair was all over the place!
Resources: The internet {as usual} - good walking shoes - and the zoom on my camera. I didn't even have to get off the boat to get some amazing photos.
