How I did it: Signed up for the rally, somehow managed to buy a BMW 735i, painted it half like a police car and half like a getaway car, packed some clothes, drove to Dover, got a ferry, drove some more through France, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, partied Hard!!!

Lessons & tips: Buy your car in plenty of time - you don't want to be waiting for a fax from your insurance company the morning you leave.
