How to get my driver's license
How I did it: I did like 99% of my driving with my dad (the other 1% with an instructor). My First lesson consisted of learning how to control the car. From then on, I experienced dirt and gravel roads, dirt/bitumen roads, one lane bridges, freeways, suburbia and so on. With the family, we'd go on long drives in different situations - examples here in Victoria, Aust. - Great Ocean Road, Dandenong Ranges, Country area... etc. I then pushed myself to do the test - I had to do this... was nervous as, just at the thought of doing it!!!
Lessons & tips: Don't just drive in the same area for example don't just drive in your suburb - try and get driving experience in different situations - the City, the Country, Winding Roads, Freeways etc.
If you are doing the test - try to control your nerves. It can be unnerving knowing the person next to you is eyeing your every move (I know... i was nervous as throughout the test)
