How to go to the top of the eiffel tower
It made me 
"breathtaking!"
How I did it: Climbing to the top of the Eiffel Tower was a wonderful experience & I recommend it to anyone traveling to Paris... the view from the top is breathtaking!
Lessons & tips: When you get to the Eiffel Tower you have the choice of going to the first level, the second level, or all the way to the top... I figured if I've come this far I was going all the way to the top! You can either take 3 separate lifts to get to the top or as I did... climbed the stairs to the second level & then the lift to the top (there are no stairs to the top level only a lift.) Climbing the stairs was a great workout (700 steps) & it was also a bit cheaper than taking the lift all the way. I also recommend trying to get there early as the line can get long. And if you visit the Eiffel Tower at night there is a spectacular light show... bring your own champagne & sit back & enjoy!!!
