How to be an au pair in Paris
How I did it: I was hoping for this for so long. I always wanted to go abroad and this was the place I chose. Big, french and a dream!
After graduating from school. I sort of missed my first chance to go there. I sort of don't know why. Then after I realized that I missed it I talked to an organization I had already chosen. They where sort of uninformed and little enthusiastic I would find an employer other than september. But they said "it's worth a try" and it was worth a try. I found the best family EVER.
Lessons & tips: Be shure what you want to do do and get as much info as possible. Don't let negative stories of aupairs get you down, insist on what you want to do - don't give in to any suggestions just for the sake of finding an employer. I insisted on a city, french family, 2parents, not more than three kids and YES I still got Paris.
