How to get a job
How I did it: I came back from Mexico on the 12th of November. Since that day, I applied far and wide to many jobs (Thanks to Snagajob.com) but non of them called me back. Of course, with this economy, who would hire someone like me, with no work experience!
Then I began to think, "Well, screw them. I don't care. I'll sell whatever I crochet."
But then I saw a sign for this WIC store and it said "Now hiring, bilingual perferred."
So I finally got hired.
I have to go door to door, giving out cards of that store and I receive $10 per person who goes.
It's a bit risky (IF they do go, if they don't) ..but hey! I have a job!
Lessons & tips: Don't give up.
Avoid the "work from home" scams, such as envelope stuffing, or c.d case making. I almost fell for them.
Resources: Snagajob.com
and just going to local and corporate businesses.
