How to learn to love myself the way I am
"One of the most valuable things I could have done."
How I did it: I taught myself how to think positively. The world is a beautiful place and I am a beautiful person.
I focussed on the things about me that I already liked, devoted time to developing things that I was good at, and stopped worrying about the things that I didn't like about myself. So what if I wasn't good at maths, or that I wasn't the size of a twig? I was good at English, and I really liked how my eyes looked the other day.
Eventually I realised that I was never going to be the skinniest, or prettiest, or funniest girl. But I could be the best at being me.
Lessons & tips: Stop comparing yourself to other people. You are MEANT to be different to everyone else.
