How I did it: It's the easiest thing in the world if you already have a Paypal account set-up.  It could not be a more straightforward lending process. This is my favorite philanthropic website, and I'll keep on lending until they shut it down, which I hope never happens.  I mixed up the loans between the short term (4 months) and the longer term (year+).           

Lessons & tips: If you don't have a lot of money to lend, do shorter term loans so you can get the money back faster, which you can then re-lend.
