How to stop putting myself down
"I think I feel more confident"
How I did it: Well, I started by working out why I felt bad about myself. When the root of the problem had been decided, I stopped myself saying anything bad about myself. Thankfully, I am surrounded by people who can make me feel good about myself. So that worked, as all I need to do now is remember how lucky I am to know these people and what they've said about me in the past.
Lessons & tips: * Try and remember all the compliments people have paid you in the past
* Really question WHY you keep putting yourself down. Is it for sympathy? Or because you feel inadequate? Once you've worked out why, it makes it easier to heal.
