Thank you for your....
Advise it really helped me ; )
How I did it: I did the South Beach diet. It was a good diet that I had family who had done it. My step mom lost over 80lbs, and has since kept it off, going on 6 years now. I did it, and am so very happy with myself! Last year I was on their website, and did their new years challenge, and ended up winning a trip to miami with my sister in law, to meet Dr. Agatston, the creator of the diet, and his Dietician, Marie Almon. Both are wonderful people. Very Down to earth. I totally recommend this diet, as it's more about healthy eating and teaching one to read lables, while also explaining why we read labels. What got me to do it, was finally admitting to myself that my addiction to bread was going to keep me going down, and to stop that cycle, I had to stop eating the bad bread. I can still eat bread, just I choose healthier stuff now.
Lessons & tips: Stick to the diet. It gets a bit overwhelming in the beginning, because you are reteaching yourself everything about why you eat, what you need to eat, and stopping yourself from just eating whatever you want, just because it's there. Take it one day at a time, and if you mess up, just keep going on the diet. It's okay. You're allowed to mess up from time to time, if you work it out, you can also plan for foods not on the diet.
Resources: South Beach Diet online, helped me with the message boards and all the people that helped me keep on my goals. The book was an immense help, read the entire thing, it really opened my eyes to why i wanted to lose weight in the first place, and it is what helped keep me on track.

Hi! I haven’t been on 43things in ages. I actually went on to lose another 15lbs, but that was stress, and not eating healthy. Right now I’m in the process of trying to gain a little of that back, but am now enjoying at the moment being a size 4, which I’ve never been, lol! Life is good. Hope all is well with you!:D
Hi
I’m happy to hear that things are going well for you. Wow! Size 4!That’s really exciting. I’m now in a size 12 so I have a way to go before I fit into single digit sizes, but looking forward to the day that I can wear size small.
Keep in touch.
Sassy

I went from a 12 to a 4 really fast though. I was amazed. One minute I was buying size 8 pants, and realized after I bought them that they were too big, thought I was a size 7, jeans fit alright, but there’s still some wiggle room, I’m not into skinny jeans, but then thought, maybe i’m a size 6. At the time I tried those on, I tried on a size four for fun, just to laugh, and was in such shock! I fit into them! I bought 2 pairs of size 4, and they fit! That was all in the matter of a month. So, who knows, you may be in a size 4 in no time, lol!:D good luck, glad to see you’re doing great on this goal!:D Keep it up!
