"summarizing the cardiac click image dictation"
How I did it: Sorry if the one sentence was overly cute. I wrote a lot of poetry from teenage years till late twenties. Mostly stopped when I started doing a lot of scientific writing. Wrote a chapbook published online by an editor who was consistently supportive of me. Worried from 4-5 yearts ago that I would never write again, giving myself ultimata, always a way of being self-destructive. Found a poem drifting into my head over the last year whenever I have made room for it.
Lessons & tips: Love the sound of language? Play with it like water or a baby toy? Or let go of my cliches and go to do your own? :-)
Resources: the ability to go through the phonological alphabet (all consonant sounds of the alphabet) is useful for rhyming poems. I like to think about poetry while walking or driving and a little tuned out.
