How to get rid of all my clutter
How I did it: How I did it is that I took a one year job in another state and rented my condo out for the year to a young couple. I went to one flea market and that didn't help much, but I took almost everything unsold to the Salvation Army for donation. I also gave away a lot of things to family and friends. And threw out some real clutter of no use to me or others. I packed up what I wanted to keep but wasn't taking with me and rimmed my small bedroom with boxes. So, while there is "clutter" in that room, it is composed of far less and more significant things than when I could spread out in the whole condo.
So, I guess I did it by deciding almost all my worldly belongings had to fit in one little room without crashing through the floor to the condo below!
Lessons & tips: Give away whatever cannot be sold if you go to a flea market. Salvation Army or Goodwill are good sites to donate things. Don't even empty out the car or truck after the flea market. Just drive it right to the collection site.
Resources: I used 1-800-Got-junk services to help carry out and dispose of some items too heavy for me to lift. They were sort of "rent-a-sons" to me.
