How to find a new job that gives me at least 4 days a week of work

How I did it: rang like 20 places out of the phone book, had 2 interviews and applied at 7 other places, finally got a job trial but got tonsillitis so has to postpone... but 4 days later i had my job trial and now im working 4 days a week... till may.
Lessons & tips: preserverance, and you have to find the job it wont find you ...
Resources: yellow pages, white pages and walking around the area i wanted a job in. resumes are good too.
