How to restrict internet use to 2 hours per day
"Easy to do as long as you keep track of it and have other things to do!"
How I did it: I made an internet sign-in sheet so that I could see how much I was using it per day. If I went over 2 hours, that got added to a running total that I could only reduce by spending LESS than 2 hours on subsequent days.
So I still sometimes use it more than 2 hours, but only at the expense of using it less on other days.
I will continue to make and use sign-in sheets, because otherwise I will end up relapsing into my old habits.
Lessons & tips: The sign-in sheet is crucial. It's also obviously important to sign-in EVERY time you use the internet.
Use the time you have freed up to do worthwhile or fun things. You will be amazed how much stuff gets done.
