How to meditate
"Less stressed and able to remove myself from the trivial"
How I did it: Took a course in the Dublin Buddhist Centre last summer but it still took me a while to get into the habit. They taught us the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana techniques but they didn't really stick or appeal to me.
Then I tried mantra and it just seemed much easier to get into it and keep it up.
Lessons & tips: Find the type of meditation that suits you - there's loads to choose from
Resources: Buddhist centres or sometimes yoga centres can put you on the right track
