How I did it: I have been growing my hair out for quite some time, and it has finally reached a considerable length. Basocally, i kept up with my normal hair routine and just waited and waited and waited. I didn't use any of those special long hair shampoos or conditioners, though now i am using an anti breakage system.
Lessons & tips: One tip is that if you want your hair to appear longer, don't use curl enhancing products. Also, when you get your hair trimmed ( you will need trims), ask the hair dresser for a "dusting" or only a half inch off.
