How I did it: The ritual is really neat, but that's about the best part. The first glass was ok, but admittedly, it was really watered down. The second glass was made the right way, and by the second or third sip, I felt like throwing up (the taste is awful).
Lessons & tips: Don't try it unless you're completely insane for licorice. A little goes a long way and a bottle is very expensive. Do not buy a full fifth if it's your first try...wait to see if you like it. We didn't.
