How to learn to type faster

How I did it: I picked up a fairly cheap "Learn To Touch Type" CD Rom and worked through that. Simple stuff like learning the home keys (ASDF &JKL;) and taking it from there.
The hardest part was deciding to do nothing but touch type. I remember the first day at work trying to input all this data and it took forever - but the more I did, the better I got. Now I can type pretty fast and I use the correct fingers for the correct keys - its really useful.
Lessons & tips: After a week or so of practising, decide to nothing but touch type properly - You'll be slower than normal for a while but soon you'll be flying.
