This has always been such a struggle because I have used my car as storage space for years. It began in college when I didn’t have a permanent home. Now I have one for 13 years and I can’t seem to break the habit. I’m trying to reduce the number of things I own because I have the same problem in the house. I’m always needing things in my car when I’m not at home, too so that makes it more difficult. I think I will focus on keeping general trash out. That would be a beginning! Maybe a sign on the dash that says, “pick up trash before you leave, please!” That will keep me focused.
