How I did it: I just kept with it... I went a couple weeks, noticed the results of my flexibility and how I felt and before long it became an addiction! :)

Lessons & tips: Sometimes when you're in it you don't realize it. It took a rock climbing instructor to point out my flexibility and ask me if I did yoga for me to realize its impact on my body.
