How I did it: Well, firstly, my parents got me an iPhone for my birthday, which was great because I had been begging for an mp3 player for a really long time, and my phone was dying on me.
I put all my faveourite songs on it and listened to them, but then i started exploring different styles of music, from all different countries and cultures.
It's a really great thing to do, and it's great seeing what other countries find popular. I love my iPhone <3 because whenever Im bored, i can just take it out and listen.

Lessons & tips:

• Listen to what friends are listening to.
• Google different styles of music.
• Google different countries' music.
• Places like tunes, Yahoo Music, Last.fm and rateyourmusic.com are really good places to find new music
• Don't listen to your mp3 to loudly, it damages your hearing...
