How to be able to run the mile under 10 minutes
"It's easier than you think, just don't think about the time while you are running, and always make yourself go faster."
How I did it: I just went down to my local track. I finished a mile in 9 1/2 minutes. It was easy! I reccommend trying it. First lap around the track should be done at a constant pace, don't tire yourself out during the first lap! Keep a steady pace during the next two, and if you still feel energized during the last lap, sprint it!
Lessons & tips: Bring a stopwatch, but only look at it after you have finished, otherwise it will pace you badly. Try working yourself up to going faster and faster. I joined a track team at my school, so now I can do a mile in 6 minutes and 27 seconds! You can do it guys!
