How I did it: Go to class, be on time, pay attention, take notes, and review before tests. Even in a challenging discipline like physics or engineering, it does not take a back-breaking amount of work to achieve high marks as long as you keep up with the syllabus, make sure you're understanding things as you go along, and manage your time sensibly.
