How I did it: I downloaded all the episodes, specials, and movies from a torrent website, put them onto dvd's, and watched them. Took about 3 weeks, and I just finished watching all the movies and specials last night. It is definitely worth your time, I have no doubt in my mind this is the best show in the world, hah.
Lessons & tips: You have to - have to - have to see all of these. In Japanese. English dub is horrible.
