How to make homemade ravioli
"Not as hard as I thought."
How I did it: I was in culinary school. Basically, we made fresh pasta, rolled it out, dropped the filling (I think it was ricotta cheese and some herbs) on it in little heaps, brushed the pasta around the filling with water or something to bind the two layers of pasta together, laid the other layer of pasta on top, and cut out the ravioli with a small, round cookie cutter. Then, you just boil it like the kind you buy at the store.
Lessons & tips: Make sure the two layers of pasta are firmly pressed on the edges, or else the filling will fall out everywhere once you cook it!
Resources: Culinary school, though I bet Recipezaar.com has some great recipes.
