How to buy a dslr
How I did it: I saved money. I then did a lot of research to figure out which camera was best for me. Finally, I decided to buy the Canon Rebel XS with the kit lens. I am about to buy my first telephoto lens and fisheye lens. I have had the camera for 2 months and absolutely love it.
Lessons & tips: Take your time and make sure you are buying the right camera for you. Do not buy a bunch of lenses at first. You will not need to spend more than $1000 for the first dSLR you buy. This includes macro/wide-angle lenses 18-55 mm, telephoto 70-300 mm, case, and other cheap lenses to mess around with and have fun. Also, buy a really big memory card, at least 4 GB.
