How I did it: I started going to my parent's church shortly after my daughter was born, but on and off because of her sleep problems AND because sometimes I was just lazy.  Since she started enjoying going to her little toddler sunday school classroom I have been going regularly.  I love the children's program there and I also love all the opportunities to be involved with so many different ministries, but the church is HUGE and i'm still trying to get acclimated.  ideally, i would like to go someplace smaller with the same quality programs, but haven't found that yet.  for now I'm happy where i am.

Lessons & tips: just get up and go...

Resources: i know this sounds silly, but laying out your clothes and your children's clothes the night before, and maybe having a breakfast idea in mind the night before makes getting ready in the morning MUCH easier. i've given up and not gone before simply because I couldn't get my stuff together.
