How to compliment a stranger
It made me 
"I've made it a habit to say nice things to strangers and not live in some bubble where I never acknowledge other people."
How I did it: If I see someone wearing something I like, reading an interesting book etc I just smile and say something short, but nice. I try not to be intrusive or make them feel I want to make them chat, just something quick like "Great book!"
Lessons & tips: People seem to respond positively to being noticed and complimented-this is hardly an epiphany.
