How to scan my ENTIRE photo collection this year of over 10,000 pix!
How I did it: I knew this was going to take a LONG time to complete, so I set aside time EVERY day to scan. I made a pile of pictures or boxes of slides to complete that day and just did it. Originally I thought I only had 10,000 photos and that seemed like a lot, but when I found out it was 5 X's that amount...I felt defeated...for a second..and then continued on my way to do them all. I simply set up another scanner so I had 2 scanners and 2 computers running at the same time.

Lessons & tips: Persistence is the key to everything you do in life. It's better to do a little every day than nothing at all!
Resources: Epson 4490 photo scanners, Mac computers, G Raid back up harddrives as well as OWC portable external HDs, VUESCAN scanning software (best scanning app on the market), PHOTOSHOP (though you could use any photo app but I prefer this one).
