How to enjoy my time with my husband and daughter
How I did it: We have a great relationship and ALWAYS enjoy our time together. EVERYDAY, EVERY DAY we love and appreciate each other. It's not what you do, it's whom your with that makes moments special and I love and adore my husband and my daughter.
Lessons & tips: I see too many people rushing about with life flying by. I never understand why people have children if they're not going to be home with them. I hear them say they have to both earn a living...WHY....why not cut back, live smaller and appreciate those in your life.
This is my philosophy on life....
If you take away EVERYTHING you own...every tangible object, every bit of cash, EVERYTHING....WHAT do YOU have left?
If you can say you have love...you have people around you that you love and that they love you....fantastico!
But...if you have nothing...then you need to own up to that...because you did NOT put your family first. You did NOT appreciate the true gifts presented to you.
There is no greater gift than a child. They open your heart, they teach you about unconditional love, they make you deal with your past if you're willing to do the work so the legacy of negative experiences is NOT passed on to them.
For me, there is no greater gift than my husband and daughter. They have helped me change my life for the better.
