How I did it: When I was a child, an older kid used to tease me by putting a stem into his mouth and bringing it out in a tie one second later - which I could never do. So one day I got really ambitious and struggled for 20 minutes and there it was- I had it tied! AND the kid was shocked - he admitted to the fact that he had a second pre-tied stem in his mouth the whole time. 

Lessons & tips: believe in yourself. you can tie that stem!
