How to get a lip piercing
How I did it: I knew I wanted my lip but I kept putting it off. One day I convinced my dad to get a piercing. He got his eyebrow & I went with. While there I knew I wanted my lip but I was freaking out from the sound of the tattoo gun [even though I wasn't getting a tattoo]. So I said I'd be back & I left. I waited until I got the courage & I walked into the shop with my boyfriend & signed the forms. I laid on the table close my eyes & waited for her to say te words "breathe out". Once she said these words I did as she said & she pushed the needle through & put the jewelery on. I opened my eyes sat up. I felt a little lightheaded from freaking myself out. The piercing itself didn't hurt bad at all. You feel the needle push through the second layer of flesh but, only for a second & it really is not bad at all. it's over right away. afterwards you can feel it swell & the piercing feels hot. it's also a bit weird getting used to drinking and using chapstick. Overall it was fine & the healing isn't bad either. I thought it would be much more irritating than it is. I've had it for about a month now & I love it. I'm getting another one next to it soon!
